BIOGRAPHY

DATA

I was born on June 9th 1969 in Pecs, Hungary, Central Europe.
My first book, called Probajatek (Test Run), was published in Hungary in 1996.
In the following years to date (end of 2002) published 14 books in about a million words length altogether. Central Europe's largest publisher, Alexandra Publishing, published the majority of my books. For more info on my books please see the "BOOKS" section.
Most cover arts were a joint work between my trusted cover artist and I. I also did most of the editing.
I have planned and executed all marketing.
I am the First Hungarian SF writer to be published in the US. I debuted in the US with "The Last Bounty Hunter" that was published by Domhan Books in New York in September of 2002.
My next book in the US will be SF Thriller published in January 2003 and its called "Test Run". Both of my books can be ordered from Barnes&Noble, Amazon.com or Powell's Books.
Furthermore, one of my movie scripts is being evaluated in the US currently. It's a bit slow going though. I would gladly accept any ideas or suggestions to move it along.

CURRENT SITUATION

I am currently promoting my new home page in Hungary and in the US. By nature I cannot sit and do nothing and expect everything. I believe that my future mostly depend on me. If I do everything I can for the desired goal then I have fewer surprises. I believe in numbers. The more people see my homepage the more people will by my books.

SO CURRENTLY I'M LOOKING FOR CLUBS, COMMERCIAL, AND PRIVAT WEB SITE OWNERS WHO WOULD CHANGE BANNERS WITH ME TO MUTUALLY PROMOTE EACHOTHER'S WEB SITE.

I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR SPONSORS FOR MY NEXT BOOK'S TRANSLATION TO ENGLISH. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS THAT WOULD TAKE ME A STEP AHAID IN THE ABOVE MATTERS.

I know, it seems a little weird that here is this guy who is represented on the World's largest book market and he's still looking for sponsors. So how that can be?

Let's look at some more data.

You know already that my book was published in September of this year. Domhan Books like many other publishers pays royalties only twice a year. Royalties of sales in the first half of the year will be paid in October of the same year. Royalties of the second half of the year is paid in April of the next year. Therefore, I only get the kind of money that would refinance my next books translation in next October. Then another year to get the book published. So if I don't start now, two years delay would follow. Any person experienced in marketing would know that two years delay is not permissible for a beginning writer, which I am on the US market. Readers would forget me.

That is all about myself for now. If you have any questions please send me an E-mail and I will reply accordingly. Please read the small essay at the end if you don't mind!

RECOGNITION

Naturally, I can't leave out the most important thing. People think that success demands exceptional will power and seriousness. I do have the will power but not always the seriousness.

The exceptional will power and stubbornness to reach my goals are usually not leaving people unaffected. They are either with me or against me. I wouldn't waist any words for the later category. Without those who are with me, who are helping, I would be nowhere. Left alone I would have certainly failed but I always find people who recognize my task oriented stubbornness and help me. They believe that helping someone who would eventually earn their admiration and respect betters their own life too.

I would like to thank my friend at home and in the USA who helped me getting closer to my dreams.

Special thanks to the following people: Abaffy Csaba, Szuszics Gabor, Haraszti Joszef, Stieb Gabor, Nemeth Istvan, Kasza Tamas, Meszaros Szabolcs, Fonyodi Tibor (Harrison Fawcett), Horvath Attila, Rozs Tamas, Dean Blehert, Cass Warner, Zsuzsa Szabo, Andras Rekay and Thomas Zsigo.

OTHER INFO

Hobbies: I like sports. I have been doing some kind of sport since I was 14. First I kick-boxed but quit after an injury. Started bodybuilding at 16. Of course I'm just doing it to keep my body fit. I have never been a particular "beef-cake" type. I'm also jogging for a more harmonic muscle tone.

I also like to watch a good movie or listen to music (any type but especially rock ballads). I would also read a book time to time. I like to meet new people and I like to push myself to the limit intellectually.

I like beautiful women (mostly I mean beautiful on the inside). I don't like empty shells. I'm yet to find the ONE
I can live my life with.

ESSAY

Under construction... It will be about people behind the actions, believes, falls and successes. It's worth to check back sometimes...
